As much as I'd hoped this site would be a regular stopping off point for residents, there is only a smallish group that regularly visit and even less contributing.

Facebook, whether you use it or not, like it or not, has become an extremely useful method for sharing info. There's a group facility on there that can be set up as a closed community (only Facebook users that have been added can see and interact on the pages) that might be of interest to more. I don't really know for sure, but I've set up a poll to see if this might be a better way of keeping in touch with all that's going on around the place.
