You may have heard that Scotland is aiming to become a Fairtrade Nation by summer of 2012.  There are currently only 3 council areas which have not yet achieved Fairtrade status and, surprise, surprise, good old Clackmannanshire is one of the three.  A steering group has been established and an initial event (successful) has been held  The aim is to achieve Fairtrade Zone status by early summer 2012.
