Reader's Digest Email imageJust got sent this email (click picture for larger version), from Reader's Digest, saying that I am apparently a -

"WINNER SELECTION STAGE CANDIDATE TO WIN AN INSTANT £250,000 IN THE THIRD AND FINAL STAGE OF THE 101ST GRAND PRIZE DRAW."

Can't even remember being entered in the first and second stages :?

I remember these coming through the letterboxes years ago in their droves, in paper format with lots of stickers and things, but I guess even the Reader's Digest folks move with the times too.

Got me wondering though; how many of these get sent out? Am I really in such a "small percentage of households" that gets picked, or is it just upmarket SPAM?

Anyone else get one of these recently?

RD 101st prize draw

This seems to be a scam, i just received a letter today and have never contacted them in my life, my gran used to read their magazine thats the most ive heard about them! They said in my letter (post) " i am the only person in the whole of the UK who will receive the SIX numbers allocated on my forthcoming set of Finance Directors 'Cheques'" it all seems so silly.

Postcode lottery

hiya, have not had any of the emails but do get regular mailshots from readers digest. On a slightly diffrent subject tho, has anyone in Delph Wynd signed up to the Postcode Lottery ?

Shock Na i havent got one of them emails.Im in the final stage of the readers digest grand 101th prize draw too @) , ive been getting the letters by post with the stickers,book offer and yes n no envelopes.the letters i had dint say enything about neighbours though.I have had emails to enter numbers for the 10 thousand pound draw on the readers digest page, think thats monthly.... do you no when they finally put the list up to see if we had won or not,keep checkin the site but its still got 100th list .enyway hope we both win,i could do with some luck 8> ...
