Just had a wee chap at the door, pleasant type, selling a leaflet (as shown here - click for bigger version) that seems to be a genuine charity fund raiser.

Checking the small print though, there's again no mention that it is a charity; there's just a Company Registration Number and a quick check on the internet links to a few interesting articles - [page one] | [page two] | [page three] - about the Company.

They've been around here before and I'd smugly pointed out to Mrs S, who paid the £3.00 for the newsletter,  that there had been a bad press about them. This time, they caught me in the middle of cooking up a cauldron of Chilli and I'd handed over the money before realising who they were. Needless to say, when the aforementioned Mrs S saw the newsletter sitting on the table she was very quick to return the favour.
