Sorry about that really bad attempt at a pun
Anyway, an article in today's Alloa Advertiser highlights a Community Event that will be taking place on Saturday 23rd August down at the Delph Pond, our local 'beauty spot' .
There's a free lunch available for anyone who wants to get stuck in about helping to lay down a new path around the pond, after the Community Council secured a BBC Lottery grant to fund this.
Anyone interested in getting involved can go along from 10am to 3pm on the 23rd August. There's a number of activities planned including a tree search in the local woods, nature art and build your own birdfeeders. Hopefully the rain will stay away for a wee while so a good start can be made.
