I had my garage converted by Anglian 2.5yrs ago(Jan 06). The initial conversion seemed to go to plan with everything completed in around three days, the workmen cleaned up and the finish was good. The problems started when the building inspector came to check the work. The insulation was sub-standard, the door frame was to narrow, electric fittings were in the wrong place and the drawings were incorrect. To summarise the 100plus phone calls that followed, the work was completed satisfactorily 2years late and I received a completion certificate last month(July 08). Moral of the story is to avoid using Anglian to convert your garage.

The plus side is that the new room is brilliant, giving me a place to hide from the kids and play my computer games:-).
