Celebrate the area's wonderful wildlife and spectacular scenery by
take part in a biodiversity day at the Delph Pond in Tullibody.
The
event is being held on Saturday 22nd May, to coincide with
International Biodiversity Day, from 11am to 3pm and has been organised
by the Delph Pond Forum. Volunteers can come for all or part of the day
and all equipment required will be provided.
The Delph Pond Forum
was set up as a partnership approach to local regeneration and has
brought together representations from local community and public sector
organisations to work together to raise funds, encourage local
volunteering and public agency expertise to make a positive impact on
the local environment.
The event is also supported by the BBC who
have designated the Delph Pond as a 'Breathing Place'.
Members of
the Forum include: Clackmannanshire Council, Central Scotland Police,
CVS, Tullibody History Group, Clackmannanshire Biodiversity Partnership
and Tullibody, Cambus and Glenochil Community Council.
