The Delph Pond Forum met yesterday (23rd June) and decided that the new shelter in the park - replacing the one next to the play park - will be sited approx. 7.7 metres to the south of the south-west corner of the basketball/football court.  If you get there soon, i.e. before they cut the grass, you will see a silver x inside a circle.  This will be roughly the centre of the shelter. The shelter will be slightly larger than the current one and one of its panels will be solid, the remainder will be as currently, a mesh.

The reason for theis change is to make the shelter more visible and, hopefully, to reduce the amount of rubbish, broken glass, etc. around the current site.
